Napatree Point back before the 1938 Hurricane when it was full of houses. Notice how Sandy Point is still connected to the Napatree at the time this photo was taken.

Bliven’s Opera House, now long gone, originally opened as a skating rink in 1884 and was converted to a movie and vaudeville house in 1885, it burned down in 1925. It was apparently located near 101 Main Street (near where Avie’s currently is).
